The excellent food and friendly welcome were wonderful, but what made our stay unforgettable was the relaxing atmosphere. We felt like guests of the family, and were treated like friends. The owners live in the farmhouse, and serve their farm products in the restaurant.

Our history
The Persico family has been farming the countryside near Sorrento since the 1800s, when our great-grandfather Antonino also ran a small inn. His son, Salvatore, wanted to spread his wings, so emigrated to Argentina to seek his fortune. He later returned to Italy with his wife, Angela, and children, Candida and Antonino, and joined his family at the farm once more. Antonino shared his grandfather's passion for hospitality, and after a number of years working in area hotels, he purchased a historic farmhouse that once belonged to the aristocratic Colonna family and, in 2005, was able to open the Antico Casale farm holiday with his wife, Luisa, and their three children...a dream come true!
